The grape variety Pinot Grigio is probably a genetic mutation of Pinot Noir. It belongs to the group of varieties called “international”, of French origin, and widely cultivated around the world. Germany (Grauburgunder), Austria and Trentino Alto Adige (Ruländer) and Hungary (Szürkebarát).

The wine village of Saniacob of Lechinta is located in the crossroads between the city of Bistrita, Cluj Napoca and Tirgu Mures. Here, where the wide valley of Lechinta spread towards the south, the vineyards recline on messy natural amphitheatres slopes.

The specific climate of the area is characterized by the appearance of morning mists already in late summer and well into autumn and to extreme temperature changes between day and night. This contributes to a slower ripening process of the grapes and elegant that maintain aromatic levels and consistently high acidity, elements that distinguish inimitable wines.
